I desire to continue my development as a member of the Catholic faith and I think that Rockhurst provides the environment
to do so. The Jesuit values of cura persoalis (caring for the whole person) and magis (more) resonate within my own personal
values.
Rockhurst provides a unique major in Non-profit Leadership Studies which is not common, yet
something I am highly interested in. It also offers a degree in Education which is another area of interest for me.
In
addition to the majors and the Jesuit values I admire the small size of Rockhurst. I love to participate in the classroom
and I am not afraid to ask questions when I am confused, thus, I feel that a small school will cater better to my personality.
